| Spikes01k06-03-07, 11:05 PM | I was just wondering if there was even a exotic weapon that was better than the martial weapons. If so PLEASE let me know. Also know I am fighting a lot of undead. |
| jaelis06-03-07, 11:11 PM | You looking for two handed? One handed? Special abilities or just damage? Evidently good criticals aren't worth much if you're fighting a lot of undead. If it's just damage, you can't beat the fullblade (2d8 19-20/x2) but its really 3.0 and hasn't been updated, so you'd have to check with your DM. Otherwise, you might as well stick with the greatsword. |

What about a elven court blade for crit range and damage ratio? 1D10 18-20/x2 A falsion but a 1D10 damage. A nice little Sword |
| Rigeld06-04-07, 03:20 PM | If youre fighting undead mostly, why do you care about crit range? Scythe would be the dumbest thing to pick up... same with the court blade and falchion. Stick with Fullblade (if allowed) or dont pick up an exotic weapon. |
| lint trap06-04-07, 03:37 PM | If youre fighting undead mostly, why do you care about crit range? Maybe he's got one of those newfangled Augment Weapon Crystals from MIC. Honestly, if you're fighting undead, I can't think of a better investment than one of those puppies. |
| Rowangar06-04-07, 05:58 PM | this really depends on if you're fighting zombies, skeletons or both, because they have different DRs (slashing or bludgeoning). For slashing, maybe a heavy poleaxe from the CW, or Greathammer for bludgeoning d12 dmg from races of stone or warmace which is the same thing but lower crit range. If zombies are your game a reach slashing weapon will destroy them because they can take only one action per round. Is there any weapons that deal "slashing or bludgeoning"? |

Yeah there is, but it's reach, Dwarven Warpike. Nice because it does the same damage as a great sword too. Just sucks when they move in the next round.... Sigh. There is also the Elven Court Blade, which only does 1D10 but has a crit range of 18-20. |
| blowfish06-06-07, 08:57 AM | Dwarven Warpike does slashing or piercing damage, no bludgeoning. If you want a weapon that does slashing and bludgeoning, ask your DM if you can use the gyrespike from the arms and equipment guide, which is a longsword/flail double weapon. |
| Novacat06-06-07, 09:24 AM | Good old fashioned greatsword. Rather than spending a feat on an exotic weapon, just go with what works. |
| Spikes01k06-06-07, 02:20 PM | So if I am not going to do an exotic weapon then we are going to do a Scythe and heavy Flail? The scythe can do Slashing/Piercing, while the heavy flail does blugening? Get all 3 bases covered, but as of yet I don't see any zombies that I can recognize. |

I personally would go with the glaive because I like the idea of jumping around with a reach weapon, but the close second is the halberd because you can trip with it and set it against a charge. The greatsword is kinda overdone. |
