Besides the extra +2d6 damage (that isn't subject to energy resistance), it allows you to bypass DR/good (which is fairly common on demons, devils, etc.). It can even be easily combined with cold iron or silver arrows to pierce even the toughest DR (like on Balors and Pit Fiends). |

Enfeebling, from the Book of Exalted Deeds, is nice, too; every hit deals Strength damage in addition to its normal effect. Go with bane only if you already know what you'll be fighting for most of the campaign. Even then, holy is probably a safer (if more costly) bet. |

(boctaoe (http://www.boctaoe.com/)) Blood seeking treats even total cover as total concealment, as long as there is some path (i.e. it can shoot around a corner/hit you behind a Tower Shield). Seeking ignores even the 50% miss chance of total concealment. While the Improved Precise Shot feat is pretty good, it is still defeated by Total Cover and Total concealment, and you can't take it till 11th level minimum. Worse, at levels of 11 or higher creatures are quite likely to have total concealment (invisibility, Displacement etc. for example) All in all, if Blood Seeking and Seeking are a great combo for a set of arrows. |

Interesting. I didn't realize that total cover could be ignored this way. You could use this to attack from behind cover all day long. This might be good with a ring of x-ray vision. |
