best wep for dragon/elf sorcerer [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-16-07, 07:37 PM well heres the challenge, I just made a half copper dragon half elf, and I was hoping for some good weapon suggestions. Since he is half dragon he is very strong, so I want to have a weapon selection that helps out with that. But a staff may be a thought because of his sorcerer class. Your thoughts?

02-16-07, 11:13 PM You're limited to simple weapons only, so a longspear is probably your best bet. Decent damage, and reach so you don't have to get too close to anybody.

02-17-07, 12:23 AM Longspear is decent choice(two handed for 1.5x strength bonus) and reach mean you don't have to get in close to deliver solid hits. As a backup weapon I'd recomend a Heavy Mace or Morning Star(probably the star for it's two damage types) and a handful of daggers when you can afford them.

For ranged attacks a Light or Heavy crossbow would be a good investment as well.
