Only for curiosity...

Any idea, for achieve 12 or more attacks?
My idea to achieve 11:

12 monk / 8 fighter

With flurry of blows (6 attacks)
With two weapon fighting (3 attacks)
Under the effect of haste (1 attack)
With rapid shot, combining ranged attacks (1 attack)

Check out the CharOP boards. I believe the current record of attacks per round is in the trillions. Read this thread:
http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=852524

There's also a couple ways to get NI attacks per round using infinite loops, but I believe this is the highest non-infinite loop number of attacks per round.

Whirlwind, in the air, riding a pegasus, after you have been enlarged (potion), while using a Spiked Chain.

Your reach is 20, your base character shape is 10x10.

You can reach 20+10+20 = 50 ft diameter sphere with a 10x10x5 hole in the middle.

Even assuming facing flying medium sized creatures (more if they are fine etc.) you make far more than 100 attacks per round.

Especially if you are a thri-keen with two spiked chains.

adding a bite attack with something like a spell, and improved/greater multiattack feats + haste easily lands you more attacks

No, thanks, I'm searching for more attacks against the same target

The Avalanche of Blades maneuver can theoretically grant you infinite attacks. It allows you to keep attacking until you miss. Granted you get a penalty to each attack after the first that increases with every hit, but if you keep rolling twenties...

Roundabout Kick from Complete Warrior can also theoretically give you infinite attacks. It allows you to make an additional unarmed strike every time you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike. If you keep getting critical hits...

Oh, and anyone with Slashing Fury, Snap Kick, and the maneuver Time Stands Still can get 12 attacks. 14 if its a weapon of speed.

I believe if you were a 10th level Eternal Blade with the Time Stands Still maneuver, and the feat Sudden Recovery, once per day you could get 28 attacks by using Time Stands Still to get two full round attacks, each with 7 attacks, then activating Island In Time to take another full round's worth of actions, using Sudden Recovery to recovery Time Stands Still and getting two more full round attacks with 7 each.

Warmind + robilar's gambit + combat reflexes + super high dex score...

Designate your square and your opponent's square to attack with sweeping strike. When you attack yourself, you trigger an AoO, which you then use to attack your opponent and yourself again, thus provoking another AoO...

The real kicker comes when you acquire improved combat reflexes (the epic feat), a merciful weapon and a means of being immune to non-lethal damage.:D

well lets see.... nothing like the crazy trillion attack stuff on the op bords but...

Fighter 6/Lasher 4/Tempest 10

Greater 2 weapon fighting, crack of fate, slashing fury, 1,000 cuts, and two-weapon rend, weapon of speed.

13 main hand attacks, 6 off hand attacks, great cleave and another free attack on any target hit by both whips(no more than one extra per target).

So theres 19 attacks + any bonus attacks from great cleave and rend.

Heck, a TWF warblade 20 can manage 20 or more, depending on feats and maneuvers selected. You can even manage a warblade 5/warmind 5/warblade 10 for added Sweeping Strike hilarity. Time Stands Still + TWF path + Raging Mongoose=20, Sweeping Strike + Adamantine Hurricane just gets sick if you ever find yourself next to more than one creatures that are adjacent to at least one other.

PS-Twylyght, I think you're confusing Tempest and Dervish...

Three-kreen, 20 ECL (16th lvl), +16 attack bonus and the multiweapon feat chain = 4 attacks with main, 3 with each off hand, +1 haste = 14

If 10 of those 16 levels are in dervish, one round per day he can Thousand Cut for 26 attacks (because Thousand Cuts, I believe, doesn't add up to haste)

that's the best I can come up without using Tome of battle

1 with each off-hand, the rest of the multiweapon feats (improved multiweapon and greater multiweapon) are epic, so you can't take more than multiweapon fighting at ECL20.

As for the OP, the best bet is:
Multi armed (5+) with Mutliweapon Fighting
Flurry of Blows
Snap Kick
one weapon of speed or haste

They are not epic feats, though they do appear in the ELH.:)

Yep, its weird that they appear in the Epic Level Handbook, but aren't Epic. But Greater Manyshot is a general feat that appears in the XPH, and its not psionic. Since they aren't labeled as Epic Feats, anyone can take them if they qualify.
