grizzt 02-19-05, 11:31 AM	In old A & D you could use one 2-hand weapond likte battle axe and greate sword in one 10 foot square. Have anyone seen rules how much space bigger weapond needs in space to function normal?
tarkin 02-19-05, 12:05 PM	For a one handed or two handed weapon of your size you need a space equal to the area you take up. I.E. A small/Medium sized person needs a 5ft square. A Tall Large person needs a 10ft square. Light weapons can be used in any area, even in a tight grapple.

grizzt 02-19-05, 12:25 PM	its a litle sad that there are no rules for the problem using long weaponds. Using a great sword in a 5´ square would be some difficult. Then its up to me to make a house rule to cover the issue. Thanx for your fast reply :)

Then its up to me to make a house rule to cover the issue. Thanx for your fast reply :) Not particularly difficult ... 5' is a lot of space, and the sword is probably only 2.5 feet long. If you were squeezing through a space, then that would qualify as a 'tight fit' and impair your swinging, but I'll be honest, I never met a single person who actually used the 'space requirement' rules for weapons ... they seemed to be a needless complication.
