I was just wondering what peoples' thoughts are on blinded vs. dazed: which is worse (i.e., should be higher level)? Dazed renders a character unable to act, but they lose nothing in terms of defense. Blinded allows a character to act, but with obvious limitations. They are also vulnerable to sneak attacks and similar abilities. However, certain abilities (blindsense, Blind Fight) can mitigate this. For purposes of this PrC, these conditions will last only one round (or possibly a max. of 1d3 rounds) Thoughts? |

It gives 50% miss chance to targetted spells as well as attacks, allows them to be open to sneak attacks, and they can't track what is happening. dazed allows the NPC to retain defense and the ability to observe. both are nice, however, good luck with that :) |
