Perhaps some not-so-smart questions, but I like to be sure...(Fiend Folio, Symbioses)

Is it correct to assume that a Cerebral Hood covers the face of it's host?
Fiend Folio mentions that the host gets BlindSight... Does this Blindsight completely replace the original sight of the creature?(Ie, you can't switch to normal sight if you want to read something)Or does it become possible to switch 'sights'?
Since I assume that a Cerebral Hood covers the face of it's host, I would think that the BlindSight(for as long as the Symbiont is attached) replaces the normal sight and that switching is either not possible or simply pointless. Regardless, what if the Hood didn't cover the host's eyes? Only Blind-Sight, or would switching be possible in that scenario?

Since the Engulf(Ex) ability of the Cerebral Hood says
wrap the head of a Medium-size or smaller creature in it's body
and
the target is effectively blinded and cannot breathe
I would say that the Hood completely covers the head from the neck up, so blindsight is the only way to see.
