What would the market price be for an item that takes an item slot and offers magic protection in the form of a +5 resistance bonus on one saving throw (Fortitude, Reflex, or Will)?

Also is there already any magic items that grant bonuses to reflex save only?

Agility || Reflex Save +1 || 500 gp
Improved Agility || Reflex Save +3 || 4,000 gp
Greater Agility || Reflex Save +5 || 8,000 gp

RAW, it's for anything on the body slot (armor, robe, etc.).

Thanks, but don't you mean that +3 is 4,500 and +5 is 12,500 (according to MIC you have to have Agility to get Improved Agility and both of them to get Greater Agility).

I was actually leaning to that conclusion that it would cost half as much as +5 to all saves, which is quite steep IMHO.

It might be up to interpretation; but, I read it simply as:

"whatever" Armor of Agility = Ref +1 = 500 gp (+ "whaterver" armor cost)
"whatever" Armor of Improved Agility = Ref +3 = 4,000 gp (+ "whaterver" armor cost)
"whatever" Armor of Greater Agility = Ref +5 = 8,000 gp (+ "whaterver" armor cost)

Go to your local magic armor smith and buy whichever one you want!

If your imbuing existing armor with Greater Agility, I don't see why you have to pay for Agility and Improved Agility on top of that. That would be like paying for a +1 bonus, a +2 bonus, and a +3 bonus... just to get a +3 bonus!

Well Improved Agility and Greater Agility specifically mentions that they have Synergy Prerequisite.

The Jester's got it right. Add up all the prices to get the Greater Agility (+5 to Reflex saves) cost.

I'd say use the standard rules for crafting an item that provides resistance bonuses! Of course, as it only applies to one of the three, divide it by 3. 5^2*1000/3=8333
Seems reasonable.

Hmm, simple yet effective. Why didn't I figure that!?

I decided to add those Agility enchantments on my armor after all.

Thanks for all the comments.
