(except for dodge and unnamed bonus's of course)

Then since this the item below provides an AC bonus it won't stack with the ac bonus from armor.. correct?

Crystal of Arrow Deflection
Price (Item Level): 500 gp (3rd) (least), 2,500 gp (7th) (lesser), or 5,000 gp (9th) (greater)
Body Slot: -- (shield crystal)
Caster Level: 5th
Aura: Faint; (DC 17) divination
Activation: --
Weight: --

This blue sapphire is cut into a large cabochon. It contains a small flint arrowhead in its center.

A crystal of arrow deflection protects you from ranged weapon attacks.

Least: This augment crystal grants you a +2 bonus to AC against ranged attacks.
Lesser: As the least crystal, except the bonus is +5.

That bonus appears to be unnamed. Unless I'm missing something, that should stack quite happily.

"AC bonus" = bonus to AC.

This is distinct from an ARMOR bonus to AC, which is what you're talking about earlier.

I noted that these stacked on the CO boards as soon as the preview was out.

Do note that unnamed bonuses from the same source don't stack -- you can't use multiple crystals to get a superhigh bonus.

Furthermore, note that the text of the ability specifies ranged attacks in the actual item description itself. It doesn't limit it to ranged weapon attacks (as it implies in the fluff line). This means it protects against rays, which makes it very worthwhile.

No you are mistaken. That is an unamed bonus.

It is a +2 un-named bonus to AC.

--------

AC generally has bonus of the following types:

1. Armor
2. Natural Armor
3. Dexterity
4. Size
5. Deflection
6. Shield

Also note, these bonuses themselves can get bonuses.

So you can enchant your platemail and get a +1 enhancement bonus to the ARMOR, which then provides a total of +9 Armor to your AC.

This will stack with the enchanted shield that has a +1 enhanement bonus to the shield, which then provides a total of +3 Shield to your AC.
