Anyone have any good solid ideas here. I wish for my wizard character to craft an item similar to pearl of power with one difference. Instead of recalling a cast spell, I wish to add a bonus spell slot. According to item creation in the DMG, to add a bonus spell it costs the spell slots level squared x 1000gps. Does this still apply to a bonus spell slot as it does to the pearl of power effect. Basically I wish my character to be able to memorize another spell slot rather than recall a a previously cast spell. Are there any good examples of my item idea to so the DM can be placated? Demetrios Mystic of the 3 Great Dragons of Eberron. (ie.. Cleric 3/Wiz 3/ Mystic Theurge 2 unalligned to any diety in Eberron, worshipping Siberys, Eberron, and Khyber instead.)
