11-01-04, 10:34 PM ok in the DM book if you have a flaming bow it puts the 1d6 fire damage on the arrow right? well does that mean every arrow fired...even when you use the many shot feat? If each arrow has this then it is possible to do upwards of 150 damage in one shot! this just sounds too powerful to me, wanting to know what everyone thinks about it.

150 damage though? Manyshot allows, at best, 4 arrows total per round (as one shot). That's +4d6 max, or on avg +14 damage. Where is the rest coming from? {Or are you talking about a Flaming, Shock, Frost bow?}

Besides, a lvl 16+ fighter can Manyshot once with 4 arrows (with +4d6 damage), or use Rapid Shot to shoot 5 arrows for a potential +5d6 total (if they all hit). Manyshot never gives you more arrows in a round than you would have gotten from a Full-Attack.
