Here's an example, but perhaps it isn't what you wanted: A bow of acid arrows allows it's wielder to shoot a single acid arrow per round (not per attack) that deals 2d4 points of acid damage for 1 round. The bow has no string and can't be used to fire normal arrows. Cost = caster level (3) x level of spell (2) x 2000 x 4 (no duration) x 2 (no space limitation) = 96,000 gp. Anyway, I think a wand would be better.
bloodtalon 04-11-07, 08:30 PM	or just get a bow of acid burst get the damage from the arrow and 1d6 from the acid and a chance to do up 2d10 for a critical hit for a composite long bow it will cost you composite long bow 100 gps masterwork wepon 300 gps acidic burst (+2) +1 wepon bonus for a total (+3) 18,000 gps total 18,400gps alot cheaper then the 96,000 bow of melf's acid arrow
Mystic Theurge 04-11-07, 08:39 PM	Yes, I think Bloodtalon's suggestion is much better. It is much cheaper. But perhaps you were thinking of treating it LIKE a bow except that it shoots acid instead, allowing a character to be able to do a full attack with it. The benefits being that it doesn't require ammo and you only need to touch someone as opposed to worrying passing armor... Now, I am not one who likes to say the word "broken", but you might as well ask for a bow of truestriking acid arrows. The bow of acid arrows that allows full attacks would definitely be "broken", even in my book.
