Is it possible to break up a full attack with other actions that wouldn't preclude you from making a full attack? For example, can I have my Fighter/Horizon Walker make a full attack, then after the first attack use a Quickened Dimension Door to teleport somewhere else to continue?

I would argue that you can't. The full attack option is intended to require the character to spend his entire round doing nothing but attack. So you'd attack once, then cast your spell, and at best get an extra 5-foot step in there somewhere. Then full attack the next round.

This said, I'd be curious if anyone else has a different slant on the question.

A Full attack is attacking with melee or ranged weapon only.

making one attack then using your teleport spell would be two standard actions which inst allowed. You get one standard action and one move action.

Exception: if you get the heroic surge feat(in ebberon and some supplementary books) you can have one addtional standard action per round a certain number of times per day.

So no you could not attack and teleport away the same turn.

I think you can take swift and free actions during a full attack, and I know you can take a five foot step. True, the idea is that they are using their whole round to attack, but for sure you can take a full attack action and then cast a Quickened spell or cast the spell then attack. I don't see a reason why you couldn't do it during the attacks.

Edit: Guys, he did say it was a Quickened spell.

Oops yeah if it was a quicken spell then yeah. You could full attack then use the spell but you would prob provoke Attacks of opportunity unless you attack with a ranged weapon.

Is it possible to break up a full attack with other actions that wouldn't preclude you from making a full attack?Usually, yes.

For example, can I have my Fighter/Horizon Walker make a full attack, then after the first attack use a Quickened Dimension Door to teleport somewhere else to continue?Nope. Dimension Door (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/dimensionDoor.htm) says:
"After using this spell, you can’t take any other actions until your next turn"

(Also note that you couldn't quicken dimension door until level 16... but good thinking in considering this feat for a horizon walker. I might do that myself when my HW reaches 16th level.)

Darn, I always forget that part of the spell. Then maybe with some other type of spell, quickened, obviously. Thanks for the answers, look forward to hear what others may say.
Wait, it's an extra standard action in Eberron? In Dragonlance and D20 Modern, it's an attack action. Are you sure of that?

Then maybe with some other type of spell, quickened, obviously.Archmagi can eventually get teleport as a spell-like ability. This is perfect for the quicken spell-like ability feat.

Also note: allies (with readied actions) could theoretically be brought along when using dimension door or teleport.

As for your original example: between attacks, when making a full attack, you can do things like:
1) Take a (single) 5' step.
2) Drop a weapon
3) Quick-draw a weapon
4) Drop prone
5) Cast a quickened spell
6) Activate rage
7) Make a free action
8) Make a swift action
9) Make an immediate action
etc.

You can take swift actions any time you could take a free action, and you can take free actions in the middle of other actions. So yes, you can take a swift action between attacks in a full attack.

There are lots of swift action teleport effects available now. Most of them don't have that clause about not being able to take actions afterwards. Look in the Expanded Psionics Handbook, Complete Psionics, Spell Compendium, Magic Item Compendium, Tome Of Battle, and Player's Handbook II.

Is it possible to break up a full attack with other actions that wouldn't preclude you from making a full attack? Yes. That's generally only free actions, but it's possible. You can make your first attack, take a 5' step, make your second attack, then drop your melee weapon, quickdraw a bow and make your remaining itterative attacks at range, for instance.

You can also decide /after/ making your first attack whether you want to continue making a full attack, or take some other action.

What about the Abrupt Jaunt ACF for a conjuration specialist in the PHB2? You get a 10 foot teleport as an immediate action.
