So I was wondering about the Bulwark of the Great Dragon (epic level handbook), and the pricing on it. The breath weapon I like as an idea for an enchantment on a shiled or a weapon, but I'm not sure if my break down of the price is correct. The original price is 1,612,970 GP. Divide this by 10 because its an epic item New Price: 161,297 GP Subtract the energy resistence of 50, which is the same as the Warding enchantment, a +6. So knock off 36,000 GP. New Price: 125,297 GP Its a +6 shield, so thats another 36,000 GP to cut. New Price: 89,297 GP This is for a 20d6 breath weapon 3 times per day. That seems a little much unless you're epic, so lets reduce it to a once a day use, and scale it back to 5d6. Enchantment price: roughly 7,500 GP for a 5d6 breath weapon usable once per day. Does this seem reasonable?
