| Bocklin03-16-06, 09:41 AM | Hi all, Looking at the Buckler and the light shield, I am not seeing any value in the light shield: The buckler has the same AC bonus, is lighter, gives you the option of doing other things with your hand (albeit at a cost, but still, if needed you have the option) and does not seem to have any drawback. Have I missed something??? Why would one choose to use a light-shield instead of using a buckler? In advance, thanks for your comments! Bocklin |
| Puca03-16-06, 09:48 AM | You can bash with a light shield. Thats the only thing I can think of off the top of my head. Slightly harder to sunder a light shield too I guess. |
