Hey all, I have a question about the buckler, it says that it can be carried with a bow or crossbow without penalty, but if used with a 2 handed weapon it takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls. Doesn't a bow count as a two handed weapon? or is that rule overrided but the takes no penalty with the use of a bow/crossbow?

A bow is a two handed weapon, yes. The more specific rule - bows and crossbows, no penalty - would logically take precedence.

You can use a Bow without penalty.
You take the penalty (even with a masterwork buckler) on Greatsword attacks and with TWF like say a Longsword+Dagger (TWF) on the dagger attacks.

Since the buckler is strapped to the same arm as the bow is being held by the buckler doesn't interfere with the shooting of the bow. But with a two-handed weapon you are trying to swing the weapon and the buckler at the same time it would interfere with the attack due to the extra weight.

If you have a buckler equiped and you attack with the greatsword (-1 to attack), do you still get the buckler's AC bonus?

To get the buckler's AC bonus you need to have the Improved Buckler Defense feat:

"When you attack with a weapon in your off hand [this would include a two-handed weapon as well as two single-hand weapons] you may still apply your Buckler's Shield bonus to your AC."

Not without Improved Buckler Defense.
