If so I'm sure the penalties would stack and what not, just wondering if there are any specific rules that prohibit this. I also know that this would not really be a good idea to begin with, since it would reduce your attack and you wouldn't be able to use it unless you were doing nothing but defending, anyway. |
| Merestil Haye04-12-08, 07:52 AM | You could but there would be no point. Since bucklers and shields provide bonuses of the same type, you benefit from the best one. The other bonus has no effect. As you say, you still take the penalties from both items. |

I think that many would rule that you have only one Shield body slot. Otherwise you could hang bucklers off your legs and one on your back for up to +50 worth of bonuses. Now, having, say, a +1 Sheild of Bashing that is also enhanced as a weapon in one hand and an enhanced buckler in the other might get more leniency... |

| MorandirNailo04-15-08, 02:47 AM | If you want to get really cheesy, you can have a buckler (or shield), bracers of armor, a chain shirt, dastana, and a chahar-aina (the last two are from OA), all with armor special abilities. You'd only get the numerical magical bonuses from the shield and one of the pieces of body armor, but you could have +25 worth of special abilities for much less than one +26 item (especially considering the x10 Epic modifier!).
