| shades of eternity05-21-07, 01:10 PM | building alchemical items quickly. I have a feeling I'm going to have to make a # of alchemical items quickly, but not sure how to do so. I originally looked at fabricate, but that "single material" makes me believe it will not work. any ideas on how to speed up alchemical production? |

For example, Alchemist's Fire costs 20gp normally and has a DC 20 craft check. Thus with a successful craft check at, say 30, with the normal DC of 20 you would be able to do 600sp worth of work in a single week, or 3 vials. If you increase the DC by 10 to represent "working quickly" to DC 30, then with that same craft check of 30 you'd produce 900sp worth of work, or 4 and half vials worth. Of course, this really only helps for alchemy if you can consistantly produce craft checks in excess of 30. |
