Bull Rush against Hold Person [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-16-04, 10:59 AM A fighter is targeted by a Hold Person and fails his save.
He is Held.
Another fighter comes up and Bull Rushes the Held Fighter.

Does the Held fighter fall over or just move back?
(I am assuming that the attacker automatically wins the Bull Rush attempt.)

09-16-04, 11:01 AM I'd say: treat the person as an object. Use the push/drag/lift/max-weight rules. If the fighter falls he might take a little subdual damage.

The simple thing is to say that the held fighter simply moves back, and that if you want him to fall over you have to trip him.
