| kjenks09-20-06, 12:19 PM | Unless the attacker has the Shock Trooper feat (with its Domino Rush tactic), if you bullrush someone into a square already occupied by someone else, the defender would follow the rule for accidentally ending movement in an occupied square: SRD === Accidentally Ending Movement in an Illegal Space: Sometimes a character ends its movement while moving through a space where it's not allowed to stop. When that happens, put your miniature in the last legal position you occupied, or the closest legal position, if there's a legal position that's closer. === Since "the last legal position" is likely to be occupied by the attacker, the defender would move to "the closest legal position." If more than one adjacent square is a legal position, use this rule: SRD === Closest Creature: When it's important to determine the closest square or creature to a location, if two squares or creatures are equally close, randomly determine which one counts as closest by rolling a die. === Remember, the first diagonal square is 5 ft, so every square has eight adjacent squares, all of them equally close. If the attacker has the Shock Trooper feat, he can use the Domino Rush tactic to attempt a trip attack on both the defender and the other dude. In this case, both the defender and the other dude might end up prone. |
