what happens if you bullrush someone into a square already occupied by someone else, and does it matter if the two people are enemies or friendly with eachother?

Unless the attacker has the Shock Trooper feat (with its Domino Rush tactic), if you bullrush someone into a square already occupied by someone else, the defender would follow the rule for accidentally ending movement in an occupied square:

SRD
===
Accidentally Ending Movement in an Illegal Space: Sometimes a character ends its movement while moving through a space where it's not allowed to stop. When that happens, put your miniature in the last legal position you occupied, or the closest legal position, if there's a legal position that's closer.
===

Since "the last legal position" is likely to be occupied by the attacker, the defender would move to "the closest legal position." If more than one adjacent square is a legal position, use this rule:

SRD
===
Closest Creature: When it's important to determine the closest square or creature to a location, if two squares or creatures are equally close, randomly determine which one counts as closest by rolling a die.
===

Remember, the first diagonal square is 5 ft, so every square has eight adjacent squares, all of them equally close.

If the attacker has the Shock Trooper feat, he can use the Domino Rush tactic to attempt a trip attack on both the defender and the other dude. In this case, both the defender and the other dude might end up prone.
