| masterofmayhem09-10-05, 06:50 PM | I don't know the exact values, unfortunately, but I do know where they can be found. The Complete Warrior has a section on archery in the back, including archery tournaments. If you have access to the book, check there. Off hand, I would guess the bullseye to be about 18. |
| Surreal09-10-05, 06:52 PM | I wouldn't quite use the terminology of AC, since that means whether or not you actually hit the target. Instead, use DC and have your roll be modified by your BAB, dex, and other archery feats. If you surpass a certain DC, then you hit the target. How much you miss the DC by determines how off centre you are. |
| FlameLover09-10-05, 08:02 PM | I'd have to say I think AC works fine for this purpose, but i'd make it for an archery ring like this: Bullseye: AC 20 1st Ring: AC 16 2nd Ring: AC 12 3rd Ring: AC 8 But it'd be you roll a normal attack, and whatever AC you meet or beat is what you hit. Anyway i'm not sure if that is very good, since even a 'commoner' in this world can get Bullseye's all day long really (maybe a level10 say Expert?) |

| FlameLover09-10-05, 08:11 PM | Good point DM Zoc, so i'm thinking now it should be: Bullseye: AC 15 1st Ring: AC 14 2nd Ring: AC 13 3rd Ring: AC 12 But throw in size stuff and distance penalites, and you'll get something reasnobly balanced (I think). |
