squiglylon 11-18-07, 11:55 AM	what are the called shot penalties for trying dismemberment in combat(head, arm, leg, hand, etc......). last i recall called shots were a -4 on the attack roll with no 20 auto hit. would that be the case in a dismemberment . i was just skimming the rules and couldnt find it. thanks for you help
Malchius 11-18-07, 11:57 AM	called shots in D&D don't strictly exist, but if you want to do somethign like it. There's pecision based damage, eg. sneak attack, and then ambush feats or to dismember peple you need a vorpal weapon. Also Crits are generally "called shots" but with no extra effects except more damage.

If you did have called shots, you would need to remove half the system including True Strike spell, Sneak Attack, and pretty much everything else in the system.
