Can anyone help me locate this exotic melee weapon? 19-20*3 Critical? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-08-05, 12:22 AM I don't know if it was in a Dragon magazine or a sourcebook. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction?

I am looking a weapon i read once and it had 19-20*3 Critical. It was a Melee weapon (Not the Orcish shotput)

And then there is any 20x3 weapon made Keen.

Please note, that 19-20 x3 is VERY powerfull - mainly because you can make it keen and then throw on a Thundering or "burst" effect.

As such, to be fair, the damage should be reduced at least once or two levels for the weapon size.

I.E. A martial one handed weapon should do 1d6 damage, and a Large Two handed weapon should do 1d10.

A weapon with 19-20/X3 crits should deal damage as though 1 size smaller than a weapon with X4 crits or 18-20 threats of the same size.
