Is there somewhere that lists when a Monk's Ki Strike(magic) is treated as anything greater than +1??

I just have a hard time believing that a Monk can't penetrate a Vrock's 20/+2 damage reduction at level 11.

I just have a hard time believing that a Monk can't penetrate a Vrock's 20/+2 damage reduction at level 11.Obviously you're still playing the old 3.0. Yes a monk's ki strike eventually reaches +3. I think it did so somewhere around level 15.

Like I said before, in 3.5 there is no DR 20/+2. There's just DR X/quality. If it's DR 15/magic then any magic weapon from +1 to +5 Vorpal Frost Castrating will beat it. If you have DR 10/magic and silver then you need a silver weapon with at least a +1 enhancement.

If you have DR 5/adamantine then unless your weapon is made of adamantine it won't be bypassed.

Did you also notice that in 3.5 there's almost never DR greater than 15/whatever? It's because of all those situations where martial characters became useless and spellcasters ran the show. The change was in part to fix that. That and it's just absurd to be unable to damage enemies (unless we're talking something made on the CO boards).
