Are you talking about Zelda's Link?

If so you'd be better off in the character development or class thread.

essentially hes a yound adult / child - in green clothes. Probably a fighter level 1.

You have to remember that the Zelda RPG did not use levels, it simply relied on your timing skills to progress you through the game and nothing more.

I disagree, I think it'd be possible to stat out Link and Zelda. Look at his health hearts, for example. the more you found, the more damage you could take. That's just one example of power increasing over time.

To the OP, if you look around, lost of people have links to Zelda d20 stuff in their sigs. Good luck.

I read Zelda d20 and was nearly physically ill. It was seeing that tripe that prompted me to spend the last year writing out Hyrule as a D&D setting. The Hyrule campaign's next session is Saturday.

That said, Link's epic by midway through most games. Let's say that granite is 100 lb. or so per cubic foot. Nah, let's say half that, just to prove a point. So 50 lb. per cubic foot. Well a 5x5x5 block of granite is thus 6250 lb. Meaning that to push a one-square-wide, one-square-thick, short-person-sized block, Link's max push much be at least 6250. Meaning his max load must be 1250. Meaning his Strength has to be at least 29 (24 assuming that every condition in which Link ever pushes any block is favorable to him). Recall that he can do this before getting any Strength-increasing items. Also recall that much of the time Link is not an adult. So as a child he is physically stronger than any human can get (well, at least before level 44, assuming the human gets Str 18 and puts all level-based stat increases into Strength), and this is assuming a pretty light weight for the blocks he's always pushing around.

I suggest a fighter with maxed Use Magic Device, just in case he finds anything that's not user-friendly. However, "please make me Link kthxbye" won't get you a ton of detailed responses. Meet halfway.

My 2 copper;
Class; Fighter. He just fights. He doesn't demonstrate anything like the other warrior's class abilities. Maybe Paladin, too, though you'd want to sub out the spellcasting for something else.

If you don't want to rely on items to duplicate Link's abilities, since Link's abilities are almost all item-based, you'll want;
Improved Sunder
Whirlwind Attack
Whatever Bow feats you feel make sense

If it were me, I'd go with a Tower Shield, simply because Link can get total cover with his shield, even though it's not pictured as that big. No armor, or only light armor, though.

Beyond that, a shortsword or longsword, and go to town. Everything else is gravy.
