FrostHammer 12-11-07, 09:40 PM	The Hexblade alternative feature gives up a Familiar for a Dark Companion. People can dispel it of course, so it's wise to try to protect it somehow. Can you make it invisible?
Sigma34561 12-11-07, 09:52 PM	IIRC - The dark companion isn't really there. Its a magical effect. It is neither a creature or object. It comes back next day I think if it is dispelled. Be happy that its getting dispelled, there are much better third level spells to cast, and better targets to cast them on. It would depend if the description says it can be attacked directly. Does it have an AC or HP?
