03-28-06, 07:37 PM I would also rule that if the claws are metal (you decided to give a warforged claws or are turning into one (there is a homebrew template somewhere)) you could make them masterwork and thus magic (with an extra cost)

03-28-06, 07:43 PM Wow.... really, not even if you had Druid cast Magic Fang+Permanancy like it says right there in the Permanacy section in the PHB? Althought I was never sure if that counted for Greater Magic Fang, but we Houseruled that its just gona cost more XP...

Edit: I'm Sorry, I wasn't clear, a Druid for Magic Fang, and a Wizard to make it Permanent.

03-29-06, 12:40 AM Permanancy can be cast of Greater Magic Fang. Read the spells description under goods and services in the Equipment section. It costs more with xp.

Althought I was never sure if that counted for Greater Magic Fang, but we Houseruled that its just gona cost more XP...Magic fang is 500 xp to make permanent. Greater magic fang is 1,500 xp. However, neither of them allow you to add "magical abilities such as flaming". Still, +5 to hit and damage is generally even better.

Greater Magic Fang cast by a 20th level druid costs:
20x3x10= 600gp
Permanency by an 11th level wizard costs:
11x5x10= 550gp
The experience points cost
1,500x5 = 7,500gp

Total cost = 8,600 gp

Having the equivalent of a +5 weapon as early as 5th level = priceless

03-29-06, 12:58 PM Note that Greater Magic Fang is +x to ONE attack, not all.

If you have more than 3 attacks, get yourself an Amulet of Mighty Fists instead.
