| Mojo_Rat08-26-07, 12:44 PM | yes. Nothing int he game mechanics prevents the use of power attack with precision abilities. (even though common sense might slightly suggest otherwise) |
| Kouk08-26-07, 12:50 PM | It's fine, yes. |
| FrostHammer08-26-07, 12:55 PM | The harder to answer question is whether you can coup-de-grace and power attack at the same time. |
| DM Zoc08-26-07, 01:09 PM | Yes, though it is likely not wise. Why would you risk losing sneak attack dice just to add a couple of static damage? Unless you were going to hit anyway, of course. |
| Kouk08-26-07, 01:11 PM | The harder to answer question is whether you can coup-de-grace and power attack at the same time. Sure. If you liken a Coup de Grace to smashing an immobile object, which also takes 1 round (Adventuring chapter), it should work fine. |

Maybe the character in question only has a small amount of Sneak Attack dice. Say from a Blackguard build, for example. Then it could be that the gain from Power Attack outweighs the loss of possible Sneak Attack dice. Particularly if there is charging involved. |
