01-07-06, 06:17 PM According to the RAW you can't even recharge a wand or staff by spending XP.

A houserule I'd use is that if you have the appropriate Craft feat you can spend XP and Gold to rechange an item. The actual cost is based on how much power is restored. A half drained item recharged to full would cost half as much XP and Gold as would be needed to make the item in the first place.
