Has anyone heard of a Cat Eye's Circlet or anything of the sort? If you have I'd greatly appriciate statistics, and information about it (also where in what book please). One of my players is attempting to "buy" one and I need to no more about it.

If he can't offer you even a source, then I wouldn't let him have one. Personally, I would require him to present the book it's found in and have the book with him any time he wants to use the item.

I've heard of this. It converts Cat damage in to healing. See also: Topaz Circlet, Ruby Circlet and the ellusive Beryl Circlet.

I've heard of the cat healy thing, I found a reference in Castlevania....

But he says it lets him see in the dark. And I'm crying "bulllshit!" but, I don't like to question the integrity of my players....

He may mean this:

Circlet of Starlight Sight: This circlet grants the wearer low-light vision, which is the ability to see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination.

Faint transmutation; CL 1st; Craft Wondrous Item, low-light vision (see Magic of Faerūn); Price 6,000 gp.

or something similar...

That particular item is found here:

In the Drizzt books one human had a circlet(the cats eye) that let her see in the infinite darkness of the underdark.

I say just give it an ability to bestow darkvision.

It's part of the Legacy of the Drow series. The Lady of Silverymoon gives Catti-Brie a cirlet that allows her to see without any available light source.

And yes, he just wants something that grants darkvision 120'.

One I heard about was a circlet that opened up with a command word that projected a 50 foot cone of magical moonlight (enough to see by but not activate light sensitivity) that could pierce (not dispel) magical darkness.

In the books it was referred to as the Cats Eye Circlet since the stone in it was a Cats Eye Agate, but the Circlet of Starlight Sight is what it was renamed on the WOTC website when they released that article.

He could always get the goggles of night. Heck, he could even pay +50% to get them in circlet form, if he likes.

Or make it charged. 2400gp for goggles of darkvision 1/day. At CL3, it'll last you 3 hours. Plenty of time.
