Gandal 'The Grim Fisted' 05-31-05, 11:22 PM	I'm looking at using the Chain Lash from Savage Species. I fnd the entry a little confusing. My understanding of the CL is... Can be used as a Double or Reach weapon. As a Double Weapon, it can only be used against adjacent foes. As a reach weapon, you can also use it against adjacent foes, but not as a double weapon. It sounds like you have to choose which way you're going to use it for that round. My questions are... If I use it in my action as a double weapon, does that mean I can't make a reach AOO? If using it in my action as a reach weapon, does that mean I only get one attack (assuming I have 1 attack as part of my normal BAB)? I assume this means I can't make 2 normal attacks (Meduim creature using TWF) at both 5 and 10ft in the same round? Many thanks.

Yes, if using it as a reach weapon you can not make use of the TWF power I assume this means I can't make 2 normal attacks (Meduim creature using TWF) at both 5 and 10ft in the same round? Correct, if your BAB is 5, you could not attack a creature at 5ft and another at 10ft with this weapon
