NyMpHoMaNiAc_FaNtAsIA 11-17-06, 11:47 PM	Perhaps he is referring to the Maul (a two handed warhammer of enormous size). Martial weapon 1d10 Critical X3 Blugeoning 20lb. Prize 15 gp. It is found in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting Page 97. Hope it helps.
crimson182 11-17-06, 11:59 PM	or page 157 in the Complete warrior. I know that one, but that is not the only version of a maul. Think the scene in Braveheart where Wallace rides the horse into that that one guys room and smashes his head in with a ball on the end of a chain. That is another form of a Maul. It's not a flail because it can have reach and there is not pole for a grip.
