I have herd some of the folks I play with wine about nets getting broken too easly, and wondered if a chain net would be an improvement, and could possibly evrn do some non-leathal damage because of the extra mass.

Now I know that the laws of phisics don't realy support it but what do you guys think of makeing something like this?

Sure. Masterwork net with extra hp and hardness. Add another 50 gp onto masterwork price. Quintuple weight. Done.

I think that if it works too well then it will unbalance things. If it is too good why use anything else and if it works well for the players what is stopping you from using it back? I would not change it - though the masterwork thing would be a sweet compromise.

If they still whine then say to them "what a good idea" then spring it on them next game. They probably won't whine so much after that...
