Changeling Items (assistance please) [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-01-06, 09:31 AM I'm sure this is talked about in another thread, but I can't seem to find a real "search" feature here that might help me. Heck, maybe I'm missing it.

I'm looking for items that may assist the RPing aspect of a Changeling.

I'm horrible at creating items, espically taking into consideration value and etc. I'm thinking of like a back pack of holding (some sort) where as a full-round action, or whatever, (or even out of combat restricted, maybe) the wearer may replace clothing at will with items in the bag.

My problem is that even I see that as unbalenced, or extremely expensive. I'm not sure.

I'm wanting a quickway to change clothing, instead of disrobing, putting things back on, etc... where it doesn't take a lot of time. Why have the "Quick Change" feat if I'm trying to change apparences quickly, if I'm on the run from someone... yet wearing the same clothes.

If any of you would happen to know of anything that may help me out, I would really appriciate it.

Also, I'm not really wanting limited use items such as "Robe of Professions" or anything. I'm wanting something that is always an option with either items I've purchased or maybe an illusionary item (with visual/sound effects, heavy armor makes the noises heavy armor would, etc)... or maybe some way to view my surroundings and make an illusionary wardrobe of things I can see, remember, etc or something.

I have ideas, I just can't put them together. Oh, and any other Changling items would be superb. Thank you VERY much, for your time. Thank you.

When you enter your search string, after that enter:

site:boards.wizards.com

So if you're searching for "smokepowder weapons", you'd enter:

smokepowder weapons site:boards.wizards.com

in the search box.

Robe of Professions not enough? Turn the page.

Vestment of many styles, Races of Eberron, page 175, 1/10 the price of the robe, and 100 times the usefulness.

Wow, I actually feel quite stupid. I saw all the "Shifter Clawbracers" and "Shifter Braids" that I just bypassed the "Vestment of Many Styles"
