When you are changing form as an lycanthrope is the magic item then destroyed?

If you make it after the WereWolflord: no.
because he has:
16 Str.
gauntlets of ogre power: 18 Str.
when he chages he is going to be large and he gets +14 in STR.
16+14=30
but it says he has 32 so the gauntlets must work in that form, what do you think?

By the RAW, yes, they either come off or are destroyed (unless they make their save). It makes more sense to allow that any items that could feasibly still fit do so, however. For example, a wererat could still wear most items, since he does not change size and his basic body shape is still the same. A werebear, however, becomes larger. If you become a size category larger there is no way your items are going to stay in one piece unless you have them specially made somehow (i.e., a necklace with an abnormally long chain instead of a standard-sized one or really baggy gloves that are held to your hand with a cord that snaps when you get bigger (allowing your hands to fill the glove normally)).

That's the price you pay for being a lycanthrope. Well, one of them, anyway.

I think they either made a mistake (common enough), just don't care, or want the wolf to keep his stats. Your choice. ;)

Most wondrous items come in a one size fits all format ... so most people assume that rule only applies to mundane items (apart from armor, since that is customized to size). If you want to play it by RAW nothing other than armor can survive, since only magical armor is allowed the fort save ... nothing else :)

Something that I, personally, do that is not supported by the rules is to allow magical items to resize to fir their wearer, like Pinky's brain implied. The catch is that they only resize to a single category (i.e., medium gloves fit any medium creature, but not a large or small one).

As for the werecheetah, I would think it would be able to wear armor (as long as it resizes using a house-rule or magical property), a belt, an amulet, a hat (or anything in the hat slot), a cloak, a vest, eyeglasses (or anything in that slot), and bracers, but not rings (they have paws more tha fingers, right?), gloves, or boots (claws make those last two difficult).
