Have this doubt:
can you try a trip as part of a charge ?
I think not but would like confirmation
tried the search with no luck

Tripping with a charge is fine.

On table 8-2 of the PHB, p141.
Trip an opponent is specifically mentioned as being able to be used once in an attack or charge action or more times in a full attack action.

Charge saya:"After moving, you may make a single melee attack".
Trip:"unarmed melee attack"
I think it sounds just about right.I'm sure, tough, that you will get a better confirmation soon enough.

I got to say bull rush seems more appropriate... Like taking someone to the boards in a hockey game.I gotta tell you, there are very few things in life more satisfying than that.
(Go ahead, give it a try)

BTW, if I bull rush someone to an occupied space, does he fall prone?(and thus make it more like taking someone to the boards...)

From the SRD:

These attack forms substitute for a melee attack, not an action. As melee attacks, they can be used once in an attack or charge action, one or more times in a full attack action, or even as an attack of opportunity.
