| Radijs09-10-05, 12:06 PM | Charge is a rather unique exception. Page 154-155 of the players handbook tells you that you can still charge when you only have a move or standard action available to you. Although you can then only move up to your normal speed (as opposed to your double speed when you charge as a full round action) and you can only use this option when you are denied a full-round action (such as in a surprise round.) So you can charge in a surprise round. But you cannot decide on a standard action-charge when you have a full round available to you. (example: You cannot charge an opponent moving your normal movement rate, attack and then use a move action to get away again) |
