charge clarification [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-15-05, 09:52 AM Okay, in my last session I did this and we are pretty sure its legit (but we didn't spend time looking it up due to the time of night and nature of the battle)-

Barbarian was paralyzed. He comes out of it, rages (free action), charges a ghast (55 feet away w/ a base move 40) and uses a power attack.

The main question is this- can i power attack with my charge? or does it have to be a standard non-feated attack?

(Oh, for those of you who may be wondering, he was wielding a heavy flail two handed [d10+4] and power attacked at -2 [+4dmg for two handed] and connected for 17 damage- just enough to crush the ghasts body into nothingness)
