so, currently a 1/2 orc barbarian is attempting to charge a bandit that has cover behind an upturned table ---- does this break a charge, or does the 1/2 orc utilize the charge benifits w/ the penalty for cover against him?????

if any one is on these boards what say thee?

A charge requires you to end your movement in a square from which you can attack your opponent with a melee weapon.

If the 1/2 orc ends its charge movement in a square from which its reach allows it to attack the bandit, then the charge succeeds and the bandit gains the AC bonus from cover. If the table interrupts the 1/2 orc's movement before it could reach the bandit with its weapon then the 1/2 orc cannot charge.

I have to agree: Either the half-orc has total or partial cover. If it has total cover, the barbarian can't attack. If it has partial cover, resolve the attack normally, including the half-orc's cover bonus to AC.
