Hey guys ,
The Magic Item Compendium had a lot of Magic Weapon properties, that did not have enhancement equivalent prices, they simply had additional gp costs.

Is their a big list of them somewhere?

Generally, rule of thumb for weapon enhancement cost is (bonus squared)x1,000. So the cost for an equivalent +2 enhancement would be (2 squared=4)x1,000, or 4,000. There is a table in the DM guide under the magic weapons listing.

Try the list of magic weapons and armor here:

The top 20 or so have +GP costs instead of +bonus

Gp price values are the best buy because they don't count against having a +10 weapon. They add on either way.

believe me, i'd post a comprehensive list if it wasn't for that pesky law suit thing they're so keen on.

alot of the DMG stuff and other listings have changed. some examples being:
-something like 30% of mag. weapons shed "torchlight". now it's a flat +500gp bonus for said effect on weapon, not a "+"
-some of the bonuses/synergies in DMG2 are changed/updated which hasn't been out that long.

point of order WotC-edit and playtest more thoroughly plz.

oh, and the Weapon & Armor Crystal are the $hit. however, some seem a little too "loopholey". g/f want's the Screening one for 1,000gp, something like incorporeals have -5 attacks vs. wearer. i mean, damn, for 1,000gp, that's a steal, right? these and a few others seem a little too good to be true.
