Neely 07-09-05, 02:22 PM	What would be the equivalent in D&D for what we know as Chloroform or Sleeping Gas? Using the sleep spell as base seems very weak as anything above 4HD isn't affected by it anymore.

Santrilla 07-09-05, 03:17 PM	Well, bear in mind that most 'real life' humans only have 1HD, and they're affected by chloroform. A particularly robust human probably wouldn't be affected. But yes, drow sleep poison is probably your best base- just make an inhaled version and up the cost. And don't forget everybody's favourite pick-up line: "Hey, does this dirty rag smell like chloroform to you?" ;)
