I was just curious about your spins on this concept. While under the effects of a circle magic ritual (a red wizard class feature), a circle leader could potentially have an effective caster level of 40. Does this heightened caster level also raise the caster levels of items created during the period? For instance, a scroll of disintigrate or a wand.
Thanks!

Edit: I realize no sane DM would allow this, I just want to double check to see if the core really supports this.

For a scroll or a wand, yes, it would work, but the price and xp cost would go up by a lot. A scroll of disintegrate at CL 40 would cost 1,500 gps and 120 XP, and, technically, take three days to scribe, and thus three uses of the circle magic ritual.

Thanks...
I realized there is an easier way for me to do what I want to do..
I'll save up and buy two scrolls of gate (about 8k each) and over the course of the campaign i'm in I'll gather a group of followers (adepts via leaderhip). When the time comes, I'll call on the support of my followers, and I will draw on their power. When the final battle against the tides of evil occurs, I'll use the two scrolls at an effective caster level of 40, and gate in a great wyrm prysmatic dragon and a great wyrm force dragon. I should be able to accomplish this reasonably by level 15, but if I somehow get the support of higher level casters with tattoo focus, I will be capable of doing this by 10th level.
Of course, the gatings are going to cost me 1000 exp each, but I think this would be worth it.

I'll save up and buy two scrolls of gate (about 8k each) ... I'll use the two scrolls at an effective caster level of 40

Help me, I am confused. Those two statements are incompatible.
To cast the scroll with CL40, you need a CL40 scroll which cost 14,000 gp.
