| midnite02-21-06, 11:17 AM | I currently have a L6Monk/L1Sorc/L1DragonD. For my next level, I will be taking an additional level of Dragon D. As you know, my character will gain both clay and bite attacks. I have looked, but have yet to find any rules to add the damage of these attacks (mainly the claws) to my Monks unarmed attacks. Does anyone have any feedback for this? |

You can not use flurry while attacking with only natural attacks, and levels in monk do NOT increase your natural attack damage. The only thing that will increase monk damage is incresing your size. However, if you have say a monk whose unarmed attacks do 1d8, and also have 2 claw attack that do 1d6, then you can: 1) Do all your monk attacks, including flurry. 2) Also do both claw attacks at -5 from the best BAB you used for the flurry. (-2 if you have the Multiple Natural Attack feat) Note, this can actually be a very strong build, so most people don't complain about not being able to boost the damage of the natural attacks. |

GMs sholdn't allow Savage Species without careful consideration of the giant boost in power it can give the PCs. that said, it's also a 3.0 resource (and I use the term resource with a grain of salt), and is superceded by the 3.5 core rules. |
