Cleric commanded undead question. [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-12-06, 11:32 AM Commanded: A commanded undead creature is under the mental control of the evil cleric. The cleric must take a standard action to give mental orders to a commanded undead. At any one time, the cleric may command any number of undead whose total Hit Dice do not exceed his level. He may voluntarily relinquish command on any commanded undead creature or creatures in order to command new ones.

LEVEL? Class Level or Character Level? and how about blackguard? Class Level -2?

08-12-06, 11:36 AM Cleric levels stack with black guardian levels -3. If you are only Black guard you command with Cleric level equal to Black guardian level -2. If you are both you add also your base cleric level.

Why Cleric levels stack with blackguard is -3 not simple -2 ?

A Clr10/Blachguard10 would command undead as an 18th level cleric

Every time a class talks about level, it's always class level, unless specified otherwise.
