| johnboy06909-12-06, 07:31 PM | Where can I find the stats for cloak armor? Thanks for any help. |
| fatal error09-12-06, 08:20 PM | As in cloaking armor, or armor made from cloaks? |
| Millennium09-12-06, 08:31 PM | I've not heard of such a thing, but I'd imagine the statistics for a heavy cloak would probably be about the same as for padded armor. If you're talking about a magic cloak that provides an armor bonus, that would be bracers of armor in a custom form factor. Technically it's the wrong slot, which jacks up the price, but IMC I'd be willing to give a discount for that particular effect since it's so similar in concept to the cloak of resistance. |
| Chrono Nexus09-12-06, 08:36 PM | Well... this should help... Leather jacket, +1 armor, +8 max dex, 0 Check penalty, 30 ft, 4 lbs. |
| CryoSilver09-12-06, 08:37 PM | Battle Cloak, Magic of Faerun |
| dengarbountyhunter09-12-06, 09:11 PM | Can you use it as a weapon for purposes of disarming? I've seen something like this somewhere, maybe it was called differently too and does not work quite as I think. Edit: here, duelling cloak, dragon magazine #335 or Gnome Battle Cloak (Races of Sstone) Both are considered as shields though (not armor) and cannot bash but grant bonuses to disarm checks. |
| Millennium09-12-06, 10:08 PM | Interesting idea about the disarming. To be more true to historical fighting styles, however, it would be more useful as a shield. Perhaps as long as you keep one hand free you can claim a +1 shield bonus? |
| johnboy06909-13-06, 10:49 AM | I seen it on one of my D&D minis quick reference cards (the roleplayoing side). On Artemis Entreri's QRC, in his possessions, it lists him as having cloak armor, but it does not list the book that is from. |
