I remember reading about this item somewhere, but I dont remember where, it gives a non drow SR = to a drow of his level and darkvision. While giving a drow a +4 to thier SR. Any help on this would be apreciated.

I think you're refering to the piwafi (spelling error), but I do not remember the SR thing, unless it can from a specific module. Most piwafi were house cloaks that had powers unique to each house. Most had low level abilities and only severed as a status symbol to the given family. Higher ranking families had stronger cloaks.

Most were just a drow version of elven cloaks with so extra "underdark" ability.

Well, whatever the piwafwi once were, they've been nerfed down to being elven cloaks that let you ignore 5 points of fire damage a round, Ooooh, special!

Now, being the bugger that I am, the only time I played a drow was some campain I quickly because the DM was terrible and I talked that same DM into giving me a "special" piwafwi. It was essentially a elven cloak that added +4 to my AC (like a bracers of armour), +4 to all my saves, and acted like a mantle of energy resistance against all 5 energies.

Wow, I just realised just that I must have a +20 to my persuade checks.
