Clouting Weapon Special Ability [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-12-06, 11:56 AM The Clouting ability from Complete Arcane has the chance to knock an opponent back 10 feet upon a successful hit (Fortitude save). Can you take an Attack of Opportunity for leaving a threatened space if you had successfully knocked them back. Can your allies take AoOs?

01-12-06, 12:13 PM Allies can definitely take an AoO, if they threaten.

Whether you can is debatable. The similar combat move (Bull Rush), does not allow either to provoke AoO's from each other.
