| kuhTHOOloo03-12-05, 04:00 PM | A player wants to use a torch as a primary weapon in a dungeon, thinking that he can have an essentially free weapon dealing 1d6 with an additional 1d6 fire damage. The 1d6 fire damage seems a bit much, seeing as how much extra money a magic weapon with that ability requires..should the fire damage be lessened? If so, how much damage would it do? |

They're kinda club-like, but they're not balanced as weapons, so they get a -1 to hit and damage ala Ravenloft rules for makeshift weapons in 3.0 In the game I played in, they did 1d4 fire damage with a chance to ignite on a 4. YMMV |
