CryoSilver 02-14-06, 04:15 PM	You add your Dexterity modifier to your attack roll. If you have a mighty composite longbow, you can add your Strength modifier, up to the maximum allowed by the bow. Example: You have a BAB of +4, a Strength of 16 and a Dex of 18. You are firing a mighty composite longbow (+2) Your attack bonus is +8, and you deal 1d8+2 damage, because you can only add +2 or of your +3 Strength modifier.
jaelis 02-14-06, 04:15 PM	You add your dex modifier to your attack roll. For a regular bow, you subtract your strength penalty from damage if your strength is below 10, but you don't add your bonus. Composite bows have a strength rating, like +2. You can add your strength bonus to damage for it, up to the strength rating but no higher. (If your actual strength bonus is below the bow's rating, you get a -2 penalty on your attack roll.)
