| gwarath04-26-05, 09:32 PM | How do I calculate the price of a cold iron masterwork weapon. It says it cost twice as much. I must multiply the base price by 2 but how about the masterwork? |
| Wyrd Bearer04-26-05, 09:47 PM | Masterworking is a seperate cost that is the same for any weapon, regardless of what it is made out of. Think of it as the craftsman charging a little extra for putting some extra effort into his job. |

Think of it as the craftsman charging a little extra for putting some extra effort into his job. That's the case with cold iron (twice the normal cost, plus masterwork cost) but it doesn't apply to all materials (mithral and adamantine item prices have the masterwork cost included). [Edit: edit this, edit that...] |
